Double tawse

I make this tawse from two separate layers of 4 mm thick cowhide. The tap surface is 35 cm long, the branches are 2.5 cm wide and there are four of them in total. The handle is 20 cm long, 2.5 cm wide and has a total of four layers of leather. I put a half ring at the end so you can hang it up and store it. The sharp edge of the leather is cut off at all points to make it more comfortable to hold and to avoid leaving streaks on the leather immediately. Because of the two separate layers, you can feel the "slap" twice.
