This piece is made from soft cowhide. The ankle strap is 3 cm wide and made of two layers of cowhide, the outer layer is thicker, strong leather and the inner layer is soft but also strong. The strap that connects the toes to the ankle is one layer of thick leather, making it easier to thread into the half hoops. You can use this strap to stretch the toe into a spike, but you can also unlace it when not in use. The buckles are padlockable (padlocks are not included). I put 5 half-rings per sock: three for the ankle, one for the heel and one for the toe; this gives you countless tying options.
